This was one of the most fun weeks I have had as a public speaker. We had received an invitation for to speak to an annual event. Gulf Lake Ladies Days brings in around 3,000 women over the course of five days and gives them a ‘ladies day out’ at a beautiful lake in Michigan. My husband is from Michigan, so we thought that we could actually turn this into a chance for us as a family to see my husband’s family as well as speak to a fairly large group of women over the course of five days. This turned out to be a wonderful family and working vacation.
Gulf Lake is a community with a lot of vacation cottages. Residents live there part of the year, and it has a beautiful beach with boats and water activities.
