Sometimes I get asked questions that refer to information from my books. But I also get the "just wanted to know" type questions too! Over the next few weeks I'm going to answer some of those questions here on my blog. First question: What books do you like to read?
When I have time to read, which is not nearly as often as I would like, my favorite thing to read is novels that I have previously read! Mystery novelist; Dick Francis has written 4- 5 novels in the last decade set in british horse racing. It is the equivalent to turning my brain off of thinking mode and going away. If I read something new, a book I haven't preveously read, I don’t have the self discipline not to get too involved. I end up staying up way too late taking too long a break from my work. (Ok when I’m not on deadline…which hasn’t happened in the last 5 years.) A couple of other authors that have written series, which I enjoy as well are Dee Henderson and Chuck Holton. I tend to read these books over and over. My husband thinks I’m weird!
