I now totally understand what my man needs, but he is in a very bad place right now , he keeps running away from our relationship. As in the takes off and leaves and I don't no where he is . We keep in touch by texting' but even that is very difficult because he doesn't have to respond if not up for it. I want he to come home, I don't know what to to get him here so we can get back to a loving place.. I don't know why he keeps leaving. He won't really say..I do know this about him he has a very wounded inner child..please help me . I love him so very much

I am still reading for women only. I can't believe that's how I really behave. But it's true, that's the way I am. I have learnt a lot. Thank you Shaunti for the book.

I just finished this book for the third time. I'm sure I will read it every year for the rest of my life. I am so surprised every time by the way that I fall back into old, bad habits. What struck me especially this time was the chapter on romance. My husband's best friend recently moved away, and it has been hard for my husband, not having him around. I decided I would try to do some of the things with my husband that they used to do together, especially sports. I am learning to play squash and ultimate frisbee. The ultimate was especially difficult for me because I am intimidated in group sports (a hang-up I still have from high school) and it took him a lot of encouraging to get me out on the field. But seeing how excited it gets him when I am "playing" with him makes it all worth it. He gets so thrilled if I get a point on him in squash, and it makes him so proud to bring his wife out to play frisbee. I only wish I had tried these things earlier, and I am so happy that I finally am giving him the type of romance he longs for.
